Dr. Beatrice Moore’s career in mathematics education began in 1980, and she has since become a beacon of innovation and advocacy. From her early days as a secondary mathematics teacher to roles as a district supervisor, consultant, and mathematics coach, Dr. Beatrice has championed equitable education. Her Texas Lifetime Secondary Teacher Certifications in Mathematics, Spanish, and Journalism have allowed her to empower underrepresented student populations through groundbreaking initiatives.
In 2003, she founded Luchin Educational Consultants, expanding her influence on state, national, and international education projects. Her leadership in programs like the Texas Education Agency Community Partnership Grant, the Texas State University Mathematics for English Language Learners Initiative, and the State of Maine’s Mathematics and Science project has left an indelible mark on educational equity and instructional improvement.

Dr. Beatrice’s volunteerism and professional affiliations include serving on the Board of Directors for the National Council of Teachers of Mathematics (NCTM) and as the Executive Director of the Benjamin Banneker Association, Inc.
